³⁷ Balak said to Balaam, “Did I not earnestly send to summon you? Why did you not come to me? Indeed am I not able to honor you?”

³⁸ And Balaam said to Balak, “I have come to you now. But am I able to speak just anything? The word God puts in my mouth is what I will speak. ”

³⁹ Balaam went with Balak, and they came to Kiriath Huzoth.
